The wreck of Inchcape 1 is one of the UAE’s most beloved dive sites! Before becoming part of the East Coast’s flourishing marine ecosystem, this majestic ship was formally known as Grey Swift 2 when in service as a crew/supply transport vessel for the oil industry. Built in the USA back in the early 70s, it was soon shipped to the UAE to begin service with Inchcape Shipping, originally in RAK then later in Dubai and Fujairah.
