About This Site
Shark Bay dive site in Koh Tao is known as one of the best spots for swimming with sharks, black-tip reef sharks to be more specific. Some of them measure up to 1.8 meters/6 feet in length and they visit the bay everyday. The area is also a shark nursery where youngsters can be observed at certain times of the year.Another highlight of the dive site is the green turtle. Some of them are huge, measuring up to one meter/3 feet in length. They are sociable creatures that are not afraid of humans and may approach you. Green turtles can be seen here everyday. The coral reef in this spot was vastly destroyed by El Nino, so there's nothing too impressive about the flora here.Dive site info provided byEmma Milleron сент. 19, 2019
