About This Site
Red Rock, also known as Nang Yuan Pinnacle, is a dive site located off the eastern coast of Koh Nang Yuan. Besides the pinnacle, the spot also features plenty of overhangs and crevices where you can discover marine life. Since the dive site is quite small, you have all the time to explore the area thoroughly.Groupers, sea turtles, sweetlips, golden trevallies, sea snakes, snappers, anemone fish, wrasses, long-fin bannerfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, stingrays, triggerfish, and lots of critters can be seen at Red Rock. If you wish to make the dive more interesting, it can be completed with a dive at the nearby Nangyuan Cave or Japanese Garden.The depth range at Red Rock dive site is 3 to 20 meters (10 - 66 feet). It is sometimes used for Advanced Open Water training. Diving is possible year-round, with an average water temperature of 28-29° C/82-84° F.
