About This Site

The HTMS Suphairin is one of two wrecks sunk in September 2023. Lying just 15m north West of No Name Pinnacle, this wreck is 44.9M long, 7M wide, and was a high speed attack ship belonging to the Gulf Patrol Fleet (Royal Thai Navy). After 42 years of service, these ships were decommissioned in 2018 and transferred to the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources for a new mission as part of the Underwater Learning Park and Marine Ecosystem Rehabilitation Project in Surat Thani Province.
