About This Site

The island of Mouro has been a special protection area since 1985, in its highest area it is crowned by a lighthouse that gives entrance to the bay of Santander. Towards the south there is a natural area where boats usually anchor and from where several dives can be made. The depth can vary between 5 and 9 meters depending on the tide. The bottom is sand but there is also a rock area where we can find all kinds of native species.
