Recife dos Galos is a place where, as the name suggests, it's very common to find John Dory. It is a reef located in front of Berlenga where the maximum depth is approximately 22 metres. On the slopes of the reef, the John Dory take shelter and stay there. On this dive it is also possible to find Scorpionfish, Nudibranchs, Octopus, Lobsters, Starfish and it is very common for schools of small fish to take shelter in the algae to protect themselves.
