There is a shallow sandy bottom near the beach that is perfect for learning and practicing skills. The reef slope starts just a few meters away and continues well around the island. This is a really nice reef with a chance of spotting a variety of sea life, such as schools of smaller yellow fin barracudas or one of the resident turtles.
