About This Site

This moored dive site is located at the top of Alofi Bay, about a 15-minute boat ride away. The mooring sits over a 10–12 meter rubble bottom, where a small anemone with two grumpy resident anemonefish can be found. The rubble patch leads into a large cave entrance—torches are required. The cave extends roughly 25 meters with an overhead environment that gradually shallows into a halocline, where fresh and saltwater layers meet.
