Sitting inside the Marine Protected Area, Fushivaru Giri (Giri meaning 'shallow pinnacle' in Dhivehi) is a remarkable dive site suitable to all certification levels. The unique topography of sloping areas and coral blocks on this pinnacle make canyons large enough to swim through. Snappers, solider fish, squirrel fish and butterfly fish school on top of the reef. while large napoleon wrasse pass by and groupers rest on the sandy bottom.
