The first bay of the promontory of Capo Montesanto is Portu Pedrosu, whose name means “rocky port” and derives from the type of seabed present. In addition to the limestone cliffs overlooking the sea, Portu Pedrosu has an important siphon that can be visited by expert divers. Entering from the deepest part, at about 18 meters, the siphon extends for 20 meters in length and ends with a window at about 6 meters deep.
