About This Site

Manta Point is one of the best dive sites in Nusa Penida, Bali, where you can spot the – you guessed it – manta rays. This spectacular site has a manta cleaning station, which is a big rock located at a depth of about 5 meters (16 feet). The manta rays can be seen hovering over the sea bottom at a depth of about 13 meters (40 feet). Because of the shallow depth, it is a great snorkeling spot as well.It is common to see up to 5 mantas at a time at Manta Point. Other marine creatures you may find here include bamboo sharks, nurse sharks, wobbegong sharks, octopus, sea turtles, moray eels, banded sea snakes, and eagle rays. Even the elusive Mola molas may appear from time to time. There is usually little current but there may be some surge depending on the swell. Visibility ranges from 5 to 20 meters (16-66 feet).Dive site info provided byAnja Gundersenon дек. 17, 2019
