About This Site
Castle Rock is one of the best dive sites of Komodo Island. it consists of a huge seamount located off Gili Lawa Laut island. The strong currents here make it unsuitable for novices or inexperienced divers but it’s these currents that attract an abundance of marine life and ensure excellent visibility. The top of the pinnacle is located at 4 meters/13 feet deep while the bottom is around 30 meters/100 feet deep.Diving is possible all year round but the best conditions can be found from April through October. Some of the creatures you may spot here include whitetip reef sharks, dolphins, giant jacks, trevallies, and mackerels. Manta Rays can be seen from December to February.Dive site info provided byLogan Cromwellon jul. 8, 2021
