About This Site
Bio Rock is an artificial coral reef whose depth goes from 5 meters to 25 meters.Bio Rock is based on a technology which, using low voltage that goes through steel structures, helps create solid limestone on which hard corals can later develop. These structures have proven to be extremely helpful, as corals turned out to grow faster and stronger on them. The marine life here includes sponges, soft corals, tunicates and bivalves. These are joined by triggerfish, trumpetfish, damselfish, butterflyfish, lionfish, frogfish, scorpionfish, sweetlips, moray eels, angelfish.Bio Rock is a great dive spot even for novice divers.Dive site info provided byBarbara Fauceton mar. 13, 2019
