About This Site
Red Slave is the most Southern dive site on the leeward side of Bonaire. The site easy to find. The area is recognizable by orange colored slave huts, which are a memorial to the period of slavery on Bonaire. Please be mindful of the historical value and behave respectfully around the area. There’s also an orange obelisk, used as a visual reference for trade ships in history. The dive site itself can have moderate to strong currents.
