Certification Level: Open Water/Great training site Rightfully named Sandy Cove there is a great deal of sand. With a very gentle sandy slop that continues underwater an eventually giving way to gravel and small cobble with granite boulders and bedrock ridges cloaked in rich seaweeds. Outside the cove straight out is a sand plain running to 30ft.
