Quebra Mar Coral Reef. The design for the main breakwater at the Port of Salvador Bahia Brazil, began in the early 20th century, around 1912, playing a crucial role in the landfill of the area where the Comercio neighborhood is located today. The structure, almost 2,5km long, serves to protect the region from currents and waves.
