Yacht Sail Training Croatia – RYA Sail & Power (Milna)

I took the RYA Powerboat Assessment course. All the necessary information was sent to me in advance. But most importantly, while I was expecting just a simple skills check to confirm my qualification (as the name of the program suggests), I ended up getting so much more. In just three hours, my instructor Ian delivered a hands-on session that covered all possible aspects of powerboat handling — so well that I genuinely felt a significant upgrade in my skills, not just a formality to receive a certificate. On top of that, the whole experience wasn’t conducted in a stressful exam-like atmosphere, but rather in a friendly and supportive way, with Ian clearly eager to share his knowledge and experience. He even took some great photos and videos during the training! An amazing experience — highly recommended to anyone.

Completed the Powerboat L2 course with Ian in October. A great experience and really confidence-building tuition from someone who not only knows their subject but knows how to teach students at all levels. If you're looking to get PB experience / accreditation then this is the place. Great RIB to learn on, excellent classroom space and Milna is a really chilled spot on Brac, a lovely island with lots to see, do and eat...

I just completed a two-day powerboat level2 course, and it was truly the highlight of my summer. My coach, Ian, was excellent – very patient, professional, and encouraging. The boat was in great condition, and in just two days I was able to cover everything I needed to learn. I now feel confident operating a motorboat on my own. The location in Milna is absolutely stunning. The open sea is so perfect. The color is wowwww；I was worried about the weather, but both days turned out beautifully sunny – perfect conditions for training. I feel very lucky to have chosen this school. Overall, Yacht Sail Training is outstanding – the setting, the coaching, and the experience were all perfect. I’m already planning to come back next year or the year after to take their sailing course.
