Vogelkopf Resort

We had a really lovely stay. The bungalow was spacious, in great condition, and very clean. The bed was especially comfortable, which made it easy to fully relax. The food was delicious—simple but well-balanced and impressive for such a quiet island setting. Most importantly, the staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and helpful. A special thank you to Adiyha and Cecil for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Would happily stay again

Thank you very much for everything.we are so happy to have a stay here. Next time we would come back again. The staffs here are really nice, always ready to help, friendly and warmhearted. Also the environment here is nice, you may chill out and play some board games at the eatery, also with an own jetty that you can see baby shark doo doo also nice corals. The room is big and clean. Thanks for chef, the food here is really nice and enak. Makasih 😘😘🥰🥰❤️

Great food, great customer service. Vogelkopf is an old property which looks like it has been partially refurbed fairly recently. I chose it for the air conditioning and the house reef. What i didnt know is that they had better food that the two 4 star dive resorts i went to over the previous two weeks. All meals and snacks are included and you do not want to miss the snack. The sous chef made cream puffs that were out of this world. There was also a black rice sweet snack that i really enjoyed. Meals are varied: anything from local indonesian to japanese ( chicken katsu) one night to a really good bolonese. There was alot of rice and green beans. The soups were FANTASTIC. Creamed vegetable soups to noodle soups that you build yourself with meatballs tofu and veg. The broth in this one was flavorful and rich and i went back for seconds. You get a buffet if there are more than 10 people onsite. If there are less you are served several plates of food and fruit at every meal. They will take your breakfast order the night before. There is always toast and spreads. They will even pack a lunch for your excursions! Not a sandwich but cooked meat, veg and rice. I gained weight during this trip. The downside: the property could use a little love both inside and out and you may have company in you room and bathroom of the insect kind. Dont brink any food or soda into your room like i did. Also the bathroom is hot and open above to the outdoors. There is no such thing as a refreshing shower here. BUT the ac really helped during the mid day and the beds were clean and comfortable. The takeway? I would return to Vogelkopf for the food and friendly staff but Im not sure Ill be back to waisai. If you can hook up with a tourboat it is a good hopping off point but Olin dive who services the resort is non commital. Luzo is a good choice bit Im mot sure if the do water activities.
