Vodice Dive

We planned to stay in Vodice two nights on our trip of Croatia *specifically* so my partner could dive here for his birthday. Based on the reviews of this place and their location, we chose this spot. They were extremely short with their email responses and not very helpful with information at all. We came and stayed here anyway, and waited each night till 6pm till they would tell us if they would dive the next day. Despite the fact that there was sun both Saturday and Sunday, they ended up telling us the weather was too bad to go out to a single one of the 27 locations they apparently go, so we came to this small town for nothing and now don’t have any plans for his birthday. I have a feeling it’s just off season and it wasn’t worth it for them to go out with only one customer… If that’s the case, we would have much rather just known that and communicated properly. Perhaps I just don’t understand October weather and they’re telling the truth. We have never once had a dive center refuse to go out two days in a row. They seemed like they weren’t interested in our business. It’s a shame! We were really looking forward to it.

We had a very nice long weekend, The owner was very nice guy, he did everything for us what was possible based on weather. Great dives, great atmosphere.

An absolutely fantastic place! Stiepa is the perfect instructor—highly communicative and exceptionally positive. If you're going to dive, it has to be with Stiepa. Complete professionalism, excellent equipment, and an incredible spot, enhanced by diving directly from a boat. An unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
