Very helpful Scottish owner, this was the only shop I could find that had everything a scuba diver needs.
The freediving course was incredible. The setting was beautiful. Learning to calm your body so you use less oxygen and stay down longer felt zen in a very practical way. The course is only two days long which will fit well into a Fiji vacation. Mike is a great teacher. He was relaxed and we had a great time. He didn't push me to go faster than I was comfortable with. The only time he gave me a stern look was when talking about safety, which he takes very seriously. On my 10 meter dive I got mesmerized by the reef and fish and stayed down over 2 minutes which was longer than I was supposed to at my experience level. Mike was right there with me and motioned for me to go back up. Yes I got a bit of a talking to on that one :) I felt totally safe and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I got a PADI certification for Freediving. I want to go again and check out the shipwreck!
I was in a jam when the battery on my dive computer was low the day I was debarking on a weeklong live aboard. Mike went over the top to help me out and was even willing to come in after hours to make sure I was taken care of. A real life saver. Thanks a ton Mike.
