Vietnam Active - PADI 5 Star Diving Center Phu Quoc

I had an excellent Open Water Training course at Vietnam Active. Everything was well-prepared and on schedule, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy. I was very lucky to be trained by Schalk, a highly experienced instructor. He explained everything clearly and in a simple, easy-to-understand way. He felt supportive like a dive buddy, yet professional and strict when needed. Although my first dive had some challenges, the next three dives were amazing. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed scuba diving with Nicolas so much that I joined for a second time. The first dive was in the north, and the second was in the south, where the water was even clearer and the corals were absolutely beautiful. Nicolas clearly explained the dive sites, procedures, and safety guidelines in advance. Since I tend to feel cold and have poor circulation after about 30 minutes underwater, he kindly prepared extra wetsuits and checked on me frequently during the dive, making me feel safe and comfortable throughout. All the instructors were very caring, and the food provided was also delicious. Thank you, Team Vietnam Active! I would definitely come back again when I visit Phu Quoc.

Did my Advanced Open Water Diver and Nitrox Certifications with instructor Thinh after not having dived for 7 years. He made me feel so safe and secure. Our class was small. Just three students for one instructor. Thinh is highly skilled and very calm as an instructor. His instructions are very clear and he is a great teacher. If you’re looking for a full-service dive centre where you will get excellent training, I think Vietnam Active won’t disappoint you
