This was, by far, one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. We took the Sian Ka’an Biosphere with Dolphins tour and it exceeded my expectations. I can’t say enough good things about Viajes Conciencia. They communicated well with us, the organization was perfect and without any issues, and the itinerary that they put together was incredible. Our tour guide, Pepe, was so passionate about the area. I learned about the local history, as well as the biology of the biosphere and all of its flora and fauna. Our boat captain was a local who steered us to specific locations to see crocodiles, dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles. Pepe was giving us in-depth information about what we were seeing. At bird island, Pepe was naming some of the hundreds of birds and telling us their role in the ecosystem in Sian Ka’an. Pepe taught us about what we seeing and experiencing, answering questions thoughtfully. He and our boat captain partnered to give us an amazing afternoon. We also snorkeled and then relaxed in the clear, Caribbean water. As part of the tour, we had lunch in the village of Punta Allen. I recommend the chicken mole! Then back to the boats, through the mangroves, and onto the van. One thing I really appreciated is that we avoided the bumpiest parts of the road by taking our boats at an earlier point. Additionally, they provided prompt hotel pick up and drop off. There were 10 of us in total, including children. Everyone was excited and completely engaged. Honestly, this tour was simply amazing. If you are trying to decide between this tour and another, this is the one to take.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Conciencia Tours! Our guide, Limbert was fantastic and brilliant. The cost is more than worth the incredible planning, knowledge and insight that they provide. We felt so fortunate to be able meet wonderful people and learn so much about Mayan culture and history. My sisters and I highly recommend booking with Adrian and his team.

If you are looking for an authentic, more personal experience away from the commercialised offerings then i absolutely urge you to book your tours with Viajes conciencia. We had a truly unforgettable day that we will cherish forever. Adrian has a wealth of knowledge and educated us on the Mayans and the environment throughout the whole trip. We travelled to Coba then onto a cenote which we had to ourselves. Then we went and met a beautiful mayan family and had lunch with them which was a very humbling and warming experience. Finnished off the day watching monkeys in the jungle. Phenomenal day . Thankyou for our great experience
