Very quiet and very charming place. Really friendly owners who share their life and interesting experiences with everyone. I recommend it to all those people who love art, music and something different from the usual hostels. Also clean rooms, quiet common space and very good reception service. Thank you for making my stay in Malapascua unique and unforgettable!

This is a very cute little place with a great vibe. However, there are a few things that you should be warned about! You will be living outside, so there will be music and a rooster to keep you company. It has fans so the temperature was not an issue. I was in the « dorm », which has 2 beds, a sandy floor, poor lighting, a toilet with no door just a curtain, a shower that has almost no privacy, and definitely no hot water. It was clean, so it this is the vibe you are going for you’ll be fine. But be warned if not, otherwise you’re in for a surprise.

What can I say? Tribal Huts is truly a community. The huts and bathrooms are beautiful and have everything you need. Plus the best mosquito nets! But what really makes this place special are the people. From day one, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome, like I had been part of the community forever. I felt accepted and surrounded by genuine warmth. Rowela, Gang-Gang, Jonjon — I love you guys. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. I will definitely come back! Btw, if you’re a female solo traveller and concerned about safety, don’t be. Even without lockable doors, I never once felt afraid or unsafe.
