This was the onl, dive so far in my somewhat 70+ dives around the world where I felt genuinly unsafe. The briefing took about 10 seconds, there was no buddy check and the divemaster not once checked on us if there were any issues or to know our oxygen levels. I had to actively draw his attention by taping his shoulder to let him know I reached 100, 70 and finally 50 bar. Just didn't seem to care. Surfaced at 20 bar !!! There are so many dive centers here, do yourself a favour and pick a different one.

We had a great time scuba diving with Tina's! Very easy to coordinate in advance through WhatsApp. We ended up doing a total of 12 dives here. The diving is perfect for divers at all levels as it is easy and fun. Beautiful coral, turtles galore, nice macro too. We even spotted a blue ring octopus here!! And lucky divers on our boat spotted a thresher shark! Our dive master was Edwin and he was great... very patient and eager to please. Rental gear was in good shape and there is a restaurant upstairs serving good food at nice prices. Can't wait to come back and dive here again.

26 dives and one extended family later, I can’t recommend this Puerto Galera resort enough. As a solo female traveler and scuba newbie, my first trip to the Philippines was daunting. This resort was the perfect choice. The owner is an absolute gem, treating me with such kindness that she even invited me to her home for a dumpling-making session. It’s that personal touch that makes this place stand out. A huge thank you to my dive master, DiDi, for his expert guidance, patience, and for making all 26 dives safe, educational, and incredibly fun. He’s the best! They made me feel secure, at home, and part of their community from day one. If you want a dive resort that cares deeply for its guests, look no further.
