I stopped by on short notice to ask for a sunset dive, and the team was happy to make it happen — as I found out later, they even arranged it just for me. The reception staff were very friendly, and registration was quick and uncomplicated. Payment via Wise transfer was also possible, which was convenient. The dive shop is relatively new, with plenty of space and top-quality equipment. Gear fitting was smooth and hassle-free, handled efficiently by the dive master. From the shop, it was just a short walk to the beach, followed by a brief boat ride to the Lighthouse dive site. The dive master was experienced, knew the site very well, and took the time to point out many fish and marine creatures. He was attentive and helpful throughout the dive. Overall, it was a very pleasant and well-organized experience. I would definitely dive with Thresher Adventures again.

A lovely dive center with very new and well-maintained equipment. Highly recommended for anyone diving in Malapascua! Huge thanks to Damz and Amy — they were so helpful and caring. When we got stranded on the island due to bad weather, they really went the extra mile to try and help us get back to Maya Port. -Ally

Highly recommended this dive shop in Malapascua! We dived with Thresher Adventures in late December and had a really smooth experience. The owner is super responsive, flexible, and helpful, and communication was clear from the start. Gear is very new, the dive guide was professional and patient, and they speak English, Chinese, and Cantonese, which made things easy. We had to change our plans last minute due to travel issues, and they handled everything calmly and fairly, even helping us arrange a new dive plan the same day. They only charged us a small cancellation fee, and we ended up with a private guide and had a great time diving together. Small downside: their big boat was under repair during our stay, so we used a smaller one on day one, but the bigger boat on day two was much more comfortable. Would happily dive with them again!
