The Scuba Squad Ko Chang - PADI 5 Star IDC Center - Deutsche Tauchbasis

I cannot recommend this scuba centre highly enough. I had never dived before but decided to do my PADI open water with them and immediately I felt welcomed into this friendly community. So much so I went on to do more dives and complete the advanced open water as-well. All of the instructors, admin team, and the owner - Otto are so kind and have created a family atmosphere. The facilities in the centre and on the boat were spotless, equipment was modern and well maintained. The food and drinks on the boat was also amazing and the level of organisation throughout was exceptional. Special shoutout to my instructor David who was wonderful - calm, professional, extremely knowledgeable whilst keeping it fun! I always felt safe, well prepared and encouraged to learn at my own pace. Also shoutout to M - dive master for our dives for always bringing positive vibes! Thanks again for such a wonderful experience.😊

No doubt why they get 5 stars on Google review. They provide the best experience in diving and ensure everything runs smoothly. Everyone does their job well. I dive with M (Max), he takes care of me (solo diver) very well and knows how to manage my stress (OW + 30 deep dive) . He shares me good techniques in diving and also encourage me to practice set up equipment. M makes me feel safe and it’s the first time in my life that has air left 90-100 bar after 5x mins diving in turbidity. He gives me the torch just in case I get lost, so I can use it for signal and I found it’s very helpful for diving with low visibility. He also has the eagle eyes and can show me many sea creatures such as stingray, eels, shrimps and a lot of huge fishes. M is really polite and has superrrr good service mind with the good attitude to do beyond his roles to ensure I’ve the wonderful experience. I did 3 dives and it’s just 4,300 THB. Really worth it👸🏻. Their boat is huge. Only 6 customers but they don’t change to smaller boat pet some dive shops. Very comfortable and feel relaxing. Highly recommend!

I did my PADI Open Water course with ScubaSquads and it was my very first diving experience – and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the first contact, everything was super friendly, professional, and well organized. The whole process felt very safe and structured. The equipment was in great condition, the groups were small, and I always felt well looked after. I first dived with Franziska and then with Felix – both were amazing instructors, patient, calm, and very supportive. You spend the day on the boat and can do two or three dives. There’s also a delicious Thai buffet on board, which makes the whole experience even better. I highly recommend ScubaSquads to anyone looking for a safe, professional, and truly enjoyable diving experience – also for beginners!
