They say a place stays with you based on the wonderful people you meet & spend time with. We were delighted to have Chris & Serrano from the 5-star Cortez Club dive center who looked after us with a smile. James who runs the operation, setup everything to the last detail and we were left with lasting memories for the whole family for the dives we did over 2 days. If you’re lucky enough to choose La Paz as a dive destination, the Cortez team are ‘eyes closed’ the people you need to be with.

This experience was truly life-changing and something I’ll hold close for a long time. Being in the water in this way helped me see it differently. It brought healing, softened fears I didn’t know I was ready to let go of, and left me feeling more at peace. I’m so grateful to Josemaria, our incredibly patient and skilled instructor, for his steady presence and care throughout it all. Forever grateful for him ! Margherita and the Captain were also such kind and beautiful souls. Their warmth, humor, and dedication made the day even more special. I have so much respect for what they do and how they hold space for others. If you’re thinking about trying something new, especially if the ocean feels intimidating…this is a team I’d wholeheartedly recommend 💙🌅🪸
