We had an amazing stay and dive/snorkeling experience with Buwan. The rooms are simple, but very clean and spacious. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay easy from booking to checking out. The food was great and plenty of it. The dock for the boats needs a little bit of upkeep, but the process of giving on off the dive excursions, simple, and organized.

Booked for a 4D3N fun dive package with the Buwan Dive Resort. Got a good price because of the MIDE discount. Buwan handled the booking, organised and communicate in an easy manner. They responded to query that removes any doubts or concern that i have. This was my first trip to Sabah and they make it so much easier for me to fall in love with its beauty. The staff here was very accommodating. The food was great and room was clean. Throughout the dive, everything was seamlessly arranged, no hassle and no rush, making it felt less pressure and more enjoyable. Thanks to their admins staff, hotel staff and diving staff for making our trip so much fun and a wonderful memory.

We spent an incredible 6 nights at this dive resort. Things we loved Staff - a special mention to front office; Pam, Ree, Asykin, Khalid our snorkelling guide and Robyn our dive master (it’s been a while since I dived and Robyn was great at giving me the assurances and guidance I needed). This team made our stay comfortable, stress free and they were always willing to help. Food - well catered, tasty and in abundance. We simply loved getting to eat fresh seafood and produce that was sourced daily from the local nearby market. Overall ambience - our room, a sea facing chalet was spacious, super clean and had all the supplies we needed. A little dated but that doesn’t bother us. Can get a bit noisy around meal times, since the dining tent is very close. Resort setting itself was well maintained garden with ocean views. Things that could be improved Smoking policy - suggest you have designated smoking areas away from public areas for guests and staff. Also consider banning smoking on the boats. That aside, we would most definitely recommend this resort and would not hesitate to come back to Buwan Dive Resort.
