The Beach House El Nido

The highlight of my stay is the service that the staff provided. In the morning when I go up to the roof top, Richard is there with my coffee. The house keeping led by Edward and his team are the best. Lhany gave me a towel when I needed one, Ivy was always present when I needed shampoo, Cyvil knew I was looking for a pillow so he gave me one. Gian is always smiling and always proactive , he offered me the dorm room when I asked if there was a cheaper option to extend my stay. Nikko is also very helpful. I was able to meet Bless , the supervisor of Richard and explained how much we enjoyed our stay because of the staff. The room we stayed in was a family room, 2 queen beds that were double deck to it was comfortable for 2 pax. The plumbing and AC could be looked into since the AC was dripping amd so was the sink but it didnt affect our stay. To Mark the owner , I hope you can read this review and give kudos to your staff. They all deserve a good commendation. If there is a reason for me to come back , it is because of their hospitality and friendliness.

Do not stay here - there is a growing number of 1 star reviews for a reason. This hostel is not as advertised. We checked out after one night. People were throwing up in the toilets early evening, the room was dirty, the air con didn’t actually go into the bed area so it was stifling hot. There was no window so no ventilation. It was very overpriced for what it was. We were not given any money back. There are much nicer places to stay - we went to an Air B&B which was run by a local, half the price, quiet tidy and clean and very helpful guiding us on what to do.

If you are wanting a nice relaxed vibe hostel, this is not for you. It was advertised as ‘not a party hostel’ however people were throwing up in the bathrooms whilst we were having showers and there was noise all night - we didn’t sleep at all. There is no secure / locked area for your baggage and the toilets and showers are in one room which is shared for male and female. My sister and I checked out early and found an air b and b close by for cheaper where we had our own room and bathroom. The staff were unable to give us any money back. We felt that the hostel was not as advertised.
