Such a beautiful resort and such an enchanting island! The staff were extremely helpful and gave their all. The surf contest was taking place at the same time we were there, so we were lucky enough to have street food on offer. Regardless of that, the island as a whole, and especially the location of this hotel, is simply peaceful and enchanting. Perfect for really unwinding. The room was great, as was the price, and the food was delicious.

Just got back from my first trip to Tioman in 40 years — wow, things have changed! It used to be a quiet fishing village with just generators and boats. Now it’s a popular tourist spot with proper resorts and ferries. I stayed at The Barat Tioman Resort for 3 days and 2 nights — and I loved it! Super relaxing, peaceful vibes, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. One thing I really liked was how they handled the meals. Instead of a buffet, they gave us vouchers — 2 for breakfast, 1 for lunch, 1 for dinner, and 1 for a BBQ dinner. You can use them like cash to order from the menu, either set meals or à la carte. I prefer this way — less food waste, and you get to eat what you actually like. Oh, and the food? Delicious! Big thanks to William island paradise for recommending and helping me book The Barat Tioman Resort. He handled everything — ferry tickets, check-in, the whole process. A trustworthy and reliable agent! Definitely planning to come back next year. Great job to everyone at The Barat — see you again soon!

We had a great experience with a serene environment. Nature also contributed in keeping the atmosphere at peace. Neither hot nor cold. Absolute still. My kid enjoyed in beach with all indoor games at free. I was able to rest in the serene beach whole day allowing to reset my mind before starting my work next week. I recommend this beach for people looking for mental peace to reset their mind without too many activities. Anyway we are full of activities at home or at work 🙂 One area to improve is the cost of road travel from tekek to the hotel. It costed RM 160 for a family of 2 adults and 1 kid. Hotel should consider to offer better price or waive off this road trip cost to attract more customers. Thanks Prabhunath
