Before arriving in Taormina, I organized a private 4 hour snorkeling tour for our group of fifteen adults. Some worried it wouldn't be comfortable on a dive boat, but it spacious, comfortable and it was perfect. Everyone had a fantastic time! Peppe was great to communicate with and he was a great captain. He took us to places where the water was a deep, beautiful blue and fish were plentiful. (The friendly jellyfish was the star.) Luciano, acting as host and tour guide, shared information about the area and took care of our group like family. An additional cost of food and beverages was agreed upon when booking. The food was Sicilian, delicious and easy to eat on the boat. Water, Prosecco, beer and local wine kept our group hydrated and very happy. When weather came in toward the end of our tour, we still enjoyed swimming in the rain (no lightning) and our time together on the water was a terrific memory. Our group spent weeks traveling together and we all agree, our day on this boat was definitely the highlight. Plus, I got to be the hero for finding Taormina Dive Center. 😉
