Super helpful and economical place to take classes or rent equipment to take out for snorkeling. Sizes all the way up to suitable for bigger Americans (like size 14 US flippers and shoes, plus 6'3" wet suits). Conveniently down the street from Blue Cave, too.

I usually do not leave written reviews but exceptions can be made with a diving experience as amazing as this. Take dive is a family ran dive shop by Take (Tah-Kay) and Hide (He-Day). Both of them were so helpful, polite and welcoming in terms of accommodating my last minute diving request as well as numerous other little problems of mine (prescription masks, boat dives). Not to mention, both of them speak perfect English! What meant to be a singular dive in Blue Cave turned into 3 dives in Minna Island! Take carries around a high quality underwater camera as well as an underwater modified GoPro with stunning qualities. I could not recommend this dive shop enough. Thank you Take and Hide!!!

** HIGHLY recommend - best day / dive ever !!!! ** I walked up to Take Dive and was greeted by the friendly owner Hidenobu. We were able to make reservations for the next day. Myself and my husband are PADI open water divers, and my sister and her husband were able to join as discovery divers (uncertified). Hidenobu and Take met us promptly at our start time the next morning. The gear was all top quality and they had lots of sizes. The facility is well-organized, clean and has some very cute dogs on site! They took us to two dive spots that were beyond beautiful. Variety of soft coral, colorful fish and lots of sea life. They have high-quality cameras and take lots of photos of you underwater and easily share once back on land. We were really lucky to have find Take Dive as this day is the highlight of our trip. ** extra tip - we asked Hidenobu where to eat in the area. He invited us to come to his son's restaurant that evening and it was the best dining experience we have ever had. I even had a request for a local Okinawan dish (beni imo) and the chef got the ingredients locally and prepared it for us. They really went over the top. The restaurant couldn't have been found otherwise and a local spot. A true hidden gem. They took great care of us and the food was amazing!!
