Taco Divers Koh Tao

Great experience with doing my open water license. As a beginner I felt safe throughout the whole course. I’m glad I decided to do it with taco divers. You get to practice in the ocean instead of in a swimming pool. 6 dives in the ocean with a max depth of 18 m. Amazing sights since Koh Tao is ver beautiful place for diving. Chris is an instructor who speaks English and German is a great choice.

Landed on doing my open water course at Taco Divers after receiving multiple recommendations for this place. Process was super simple and I got all signed up in a few minutes for the following day. 3 days of some light reading and quizzes followed by an academic session on day 1 then 3 days of diving. It was an incredible experience. Been diving for 15 years on and off but nothing compared to here in Thailand and my experience with Taco. Our instructor was Dan and he was absolutely awesome. Dan prepared as well and ensured everyone was informed on the necessary tasks but also making sure we had a great time and enjoyed our dives. I think instructors can really make or break a dive experience and in this case, Dan ensured we all had the best diving trip ever. I enjoyed it so much that I will be staying longer to complete more courses. I highly recommend this spot whether it’s for fun dives or completing some courses.

I had an amazing experience during my diving course. My instructor Trini was incredibly patient, kind, and supportive. You can really feel how much experience she has and how passionate she is about diving. Her positive energy and love for the ocean made me feel safe and overcome my fears step by step.
