Sweet Bottom Dive Center

We did an afternoon 2 tank shore dive with Sweet Bottom Dive Center. It was only my friend and myself in our group which was great. Wade was our guide and did a fabulous job. He was sensitive to our dive experience, funny, and super nice. What a great asset he is to this company! Great dives, we saw barracuda, a green moray eel swimming around, a bat fish and several other fish. The only downside is that the wall is a bit of a swim out from shore before we dropped down and we spend quite a bit of our dive underwater heading back to shore underwater where there isn't a lot to see.

Great experience at Sweet Bottom! Long time divers, first time on St. Croix. Wanted to dive the wall, with a guide. We rented tanks and weights, and went with guide plus one other diver out to explore the reef, and the top of the wall. Glorious! This is a top-notch dive organization. Ten stars. Laura rocks!

Make sure to come to this Dive Center! Chris was our guide on our Three-Day, 6 Tank set of dives! It actually was just my husband and I and him - so private guided dives! He was awesome. So helpful, kind, gracious, knowledgeable and funny! Just what you’re looking for in a scuba guide! My husband and I are Advanced OW divers with 60+ dives under our belt and are pretty hard critiques of dive shops & guides — we have had some fantastic ones, and some horrible ones over the years. This is hands down one of the best experiences we have had. Chris was fantastic, the shop was beautiful & well stocked, and the rental gear was excellent. It was all in great condition — integrated weight BCDs (no belts!), pristine wetsuits, water, restrooms, etc. Not to mention the dive sites- we dove the Pier, Cane Bay Wall and Davis Bay Wall! We saw all kinds of animals and coral. The Coral in St Croix is unlike what we have seen elsewhere - they have every single type. We also saw a spotted eagle ray, Tons of stingrays, reef sharks, countless turtles, lobsters, crabs, spiders, green moray eels, spotted eels, octopus, and of course all kinds of fish. I would highly recommend this shop, these dives & Chris as your guide. Thank you guys so much!!!
