Disgusting experience and extremely poor management. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Reasons: 1. Misleading room pictures: The room size shown in the pictures is completely fake. The actual room is extremely small—more like a guest house than a hotel. 2. Non-functional air conditioner: Upon entering the room, the air conditioner was not working and the room was uncomfortably warm. When I complained, a staff member came and confirmed that the AC was indeed not cooling. He then cleaned the filters. This raises a serious question—why wasn’t basic maintenance done before assigning the room to us? 3. TV not working: The TV was also not functioning. When reported, the staff member had to replace the remote batteries. Encountering such issues is unacceptable and leaves a very poor first impression. We paid you in full and expect the proper services in return. 4. Unacceptable resolution: I requested some percentage of refund for these inconveniences. After several hours, they declined and said "Any kind of refund is against our policy". So my question is IS IT IN YOUR POLICY TO PROVIDE SUCH DISGUSTING SERVICES? They offered us to change the room at 12:15 AM when we came in after the dinner despite the fact that we were checking out early the next morning. We declined the offer as it was completely unreasonable to change the room for few hours and take all the belongings. Upon declining they then offered a complimentary lunch which we also refused. We did not come here to be compensated with cheap offers instead of proper service. This hotel lacks basic standards, professionalism, and accountability. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Think carefully before choosing to stay here.

After reading the positive reviews of this hotel, we booked it for a one-night stay in Malé. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. Pros: 1. The hotel staff were polite and respectful. 2. The food was excellent — we especially enjoyed the chicken massaman and the Thai basil dishes. 3. Our room was clean and tidy, and the view from the balcony was lovely. Cons: 1. We had booked a deluxe room with a balcony, but the room turned out to be extremely small and cramped. Once we opened our bags, there was barely any space to move around. The en-suite bathroom was also very small. The balcony itself was just a narrow strip overlooking the ocean. 2. The room lacked proper sound insulation. Noise from traffic, the beach event area, and nearby construction made our stay uncomfortable. 3. The room became extremely hot during the afternoon due to direct sunlight through the glass pane, creating a greenhouse effect. 4. In-room dining service was very slow — our order took more than an hour to arrive. 5. The hotel’s main entrance closes at 11 PM, which is unusual for a property of this type. 6. We requested assistance in arranging a car for local travel at check-in, but the receptionist politely declined. 7. At check-out, when paying in USD, the receptionist refused to accept a slightly bent $20 bill. She also initially refused to return the balance, citing a hotel policy of rounding off cash payments. 8. The breakfast spread was very limited. 9. The rooftop restaurant is also quite small and becomes congested during breakfast hours. The glass windows, which cannot be opened, made the space uncomfortably hot in the morning sun. 10. The lobby area has 2 ACs out of which only one was working.

The airport pick up was great, but it was downhill from there. The rooms are tiny, but not too much of an issue for a one night stay. But you are on a busy road, next to a building site with zero sound proofing. It was impossible to sleep. The building site took deliveries at 2 and 4.30am, you can hear every car, prayers are broadcast at 5am and there are no proper curtains so the billboard opposite constantly flashes different colours into the room. Avoid at all costs if you value your sleep.
