Split Outdoor Adventure

I planned to do a quad tour around Split. The office service was very friendly. The agency offers 2 different tours - family quad tour and mountain adventure. I prefer activities with a bit more action so the lady advised me to choose the mountain tour which I also booked. Meeting point was a motel nearby Split (40 min ride). Unfortunately a guy from another agency picked me up, so I was totally at the wrong place. After several calls the right guide picked me up but all people were pissed because of a 40 min delay. At this point I recommend to the agency that your pick up service use some unique thing that the tourists recognize the right tour. The man from the other agency also checked my receipt but obviously not conscientiously enough. We started the tour in the afternoon with delay around 3:45 pm. One of the participants had his son (something around 8 years old) with the tour. This little kid wanted to drive with the quad all the time, which was quite enoying. Even that we had to wait a couple of times because these guys always stuck somewhere. We had a rest in a very lovely local restaurant, original Croatian. This was really good. Unfortunately the weather turned in bad and even more unfortunate that the guide forgot rain coats. The agency told me that I don't need to worry about rain because rain coats are available. At the end I was wet like having a shower with clothes. We broke up our tour because the little son felt cold and his father asked us to return. So we missed around 45 min of the tour and 2 attractions. In generell this could be really a beautiful tour through the Croatian nature, so I highly recommend a tour like this.....but.... On purpose I booked not the family tour because of kids who may start complaining of sth. I really have no understanding for the agency not to make clear that there should be even no discussion about little kids driving. The 120 Eur I paid was definetly not worth it. At the end.... totally wet because of rain and no rain coats, the agency was even not prepared that you can somehow dry off yourself. During the tour they also take fotos which is really nice. To get the pics I had to ask for in several reminders. But the fotos are great . I give 2 of 5 stars: one star for the beauty of the nature and the potential of the tour another star for Toni, our guide who really made a good job and was very kind Feedback for the agency Make sure that participants join the right tour Make sure that the tour will be finished as planned and only will be broken up because of an emergency Don't sell people an "action tour" when it turns to a family tour - be honst and transparent Be prepared for weather changes

My husband and I are spending our honeymoon in Croatia and are so glad we found split outdoor adventure! We had a full day of excursions including horseback riding, bbq lunch and ATV up to the highest peak in Croatia. After we booked they took care of the rest which made it stress free on our end and everything turned out great. Would highly recommend and we have already booked other excursions through split outdoor adventure!

Our guides were amazing. They shared great stories about the area and their connection to the land. Very lovely family. The picnic at the end was very nice.
