I went on 2 dives with Tsuma and I enjoyed it very much. He is an excellent instructor who explains everything in detail and helps when necessary. The diving equipment is brand new. You can decide together which diving spots you want to visit. If you are looking with whom to dive in Zanzibar don‘t hesitate to go with Tsuma and Divers in Flip Flops. 100% recommended!

We did a night dive with Spicy Divers Zanzibar. The reef outside Nungwi was really cool at night time with a lot of colors which I have not seen before in corals. I did 4 dives at Mnemba a few days in advance and the reef there was a lot …

Highly recommended! This is a new diving center at Nungwi, Zanzibar (between double tree hotel and Gerry´s bar at Nungwi beach). I already did my Open Water Diver with Tsuma, the owner, when he was still employed at an internationally led dive center. I was more than happy to hear that he has taken the step to open his own dive center now, and of course I came back to do the Advanced Open Water Diver with him. :-) Tsuma is the most patient and friendly dive instructor I can imagine. In the beginning I was a bit scared, and he was so patient and friendly, he really went the extra mile to make sure that I could really do all the skills without problems, even if it took some time. Tsuma is highly responsible, I always felt that safety and security of his clients is highest priority. The equipment is new and perfectly well, we always did a decent briefing and security check. Underneath the water he always took care of his divers and was very attentive. He is also highly skilled with respect to sea life and knows all the big and tiny little creatures down there. After the dives, he and the captain served us with hot coffee, pastry and fresh fruit. The dive sites are amazing and we saw so many different things like frog fish, crocodile fish, sea horses, sea turtles, stone fish etc etc. Of course, as a beginner you get amazed by everything, but also the more experienced divers were thrilled. From the boat we were even lucky to see humpback whales and spend some time with them, so beautiful. The different sites are great, my favorite is the Magic Reef though. And after the night dive I said: "I want to become a night diver" :-) I can just highly recommend this dive center to everybody!
