Slam's Garden Dive Resort / Ocean Passion

I am rating them despite not being able to stay with their resort because this is the first time I was allowed to cancel my reservation despite it not being non-refundable in Agoda. They are so accomodating. I cancelled because I wanted to upgrade to an air-conditioned room with them. They messaged me that the room I wanted was already booked but that they would still refund me no problem. Class act. If this is how they handle guests, then I can't wait to dive with them.

We had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. There’s a lovely outdoor garden and a large swimming pool, which made the place very pleasant. The only downside was the plumbing, although the room was very clean and comfortable, there was an issue with the toilet not flushing properly. Also, there’s no air conditioning in the room (which we knew in advance). Other than that, it’s great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

$36 USD per night for a room with two twins and no AC or breakfast included. Including AC and breakfast is available for $17/night extra. I had friends on the island paying for two queens with AC for $30/night. This place is a ripoff and they nickel and dime you for everything. They charge you for driking water. It’s absurd. If you stay anywhere on the island but here, your value will increase no doubt. Also of all the dive shops I spoke with they seemed the least professional and personable. Oh I almost forgot to add, there is a black dog on property that barks all night long. Funny that even some of the locals I ran into asked me, ‘they still have that barking dog?!’ Avoid entirely for stay or diving.
