Similan Diving Safaris PADI 5* Dive Center

I was lucky enough to book a 3D3N liveaboard trip with them quite last minute and thanks to Andre I even got the chance to get my Advanced diver, so I left the boat not only with incredible memories but also with a new PADI certification. All of that for a VERY good price. Even though it was by far the most expensive activity that I’ve done, it instantly became one of my favorite memories in almost one and a half years of traveling. If you’re thinking about whether it’s worth the money and a try or not- it absolutely is! I‘m really looking forward to come back. I would do the same trip, the same dive sites again because even though we didn’t saw any gentle giants the underwater world around the Surin and Similan islands is absolutely incredible and still very beautiful which is not self-evident. You can be assured that you’re well taken care of. Andre had an open ear for all of my questions that I had beforehand, the organization is easy and the whole team is a group of easygoing but professional divers. Luiz was a good dive instructor and team leader who made sure that we could enjoy every dive as long as possible. The cozy wooden M/V Dolphin Queen suits the familiar and chill atmosphere just perfectly. It was a great experience to be on a boat all day, do nothing more than diving and eating good (!) food, I would highly recommend it to everyone. I have only would’ve preferred to have the night dive as a real night dive and not at dawn. Otherwise it gets the most interesting when it’s almost time to get back to the boat.

I booked the 4 days / 3 nights liveaboard and honestly wish I had booked a longer trip. It was such an amazing experience. There is a very warm, family-like atmosphere on board and you immediately feel welcome. The dive guides and crew truly put their heart into everything they do. Miklos was a fantastic dive guide. As a highlight, we even saw a manta – absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Similan Diving Safaris made my dream of diving in the Similan and Surin Islands come true in the best way ever. Everything was perfect, since the 1st time I entered the Diveshop to talk to Andre. All my expectations were fulfilled and exceeded with excellence. The boat is perfect, very comfortable, clean and organized. The dive plan was the best, including all the most wanted divesites. The crew, fantastic, every single person doing their best. THE FOOD... oh my God, I will need a special review to talk about the food, I would stay in the boat just eating, not diving... but the dives were awesome, all of them. What about our Divemaster Miklos? The most perfect professional I have met, very kind, polite, funny, calm and experienced. I could not ask more for a Liveaboard. Highly recommended!
