Seaventures Dive Rig

We had an amazing time on the oil rig and stayed for 5 days. The dives were absolutely beautiful and offered a great variety. Helmi was a fantastic Dive Master, ensuring our dives were both wonderful and safe. ​We saw everything from reef sharks, turtles, and barracudas to nudibranchs and we even spotted a hammerhead shark! 🦈 The food was always delicious and varied as well. We would love to come back in the future! 🌊✨

I just spent an amazing 7 days/6 nights with Seaventures. If you’re looking for a unique dive experience, diving off Seavdent’s oil rig turned dive resort is something you have to try. Not your typical 5-star resort, this place is unique and has character, with lots of cool spaces to enjoy. The rig is similar to that of a liveaboard but doesn’t require long crossings, making it ideal for divers who get seasick or don’t enjoy being on a boat. The rig has a beautiful sun deck where you can enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and stars. It also features a game room and even offers massage therapy, which is an added bonus. The food was delicious, and the staff really made the trip memorable. With only a 30-minute ride to Sipadan, you’ll be one of the first boats to reach the island. I wanted to visit Sipadan to see the schools of bumphead parrotfish, and we were lucky enough to spot a hammerhead shark, a leopard shark, and even the elusive whale shark. We were very lucky! You never know what you might see out there in the ocean. If you enjoy macro, this area won’t disappoint, as there are many fascinating nudibranchs, pipefish, octopus, and small creatures to keep you excited. Ryan and Chum were my dive guides, and they were both amazing—fun, safe, and full of knowledge about diving and ocean life. I enjoyed experiencing both of their different diving styles and having conversations with the rest of the dive crew, their passion for diving and the ocean really shows. I booked my trip during the low season when visibility and crowds were a bit less, but I was rewarded with sightings you would not expect to see. I could’ve stayed another week, and I’m looking forward to coming back soon!

I recently completed a 5-day, 6-night diving trip with Seaventures, and it was an incredible experience. Diving at Sipadan absolutely lived up to its reputation as one of the best spots in the world—the marine life was exciting and the colors were truly brilliant. The staff were professional and attentive throughout the entire stay. I was also impressed with the rig itself; it is very well-maintained and offers a unique atmosphere for a dive holiday. To top it off, the food was delicious. It felt like eating at a high-quality restaurant every day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier diving adventure!
