Sea Dog Dive Centre

Rating: 5/5 Stars My wife and I make it a point to go out with Phil and the crew at Sea Dog every time we visit Belize. I’ve completed seven dives over four different trips with them, and every single experience feels fresh and exciting. They are conveniently located on Fido's Dock next to the Belize Express Water Taxi. On our most recent trip, we went out for a Lionfish hunt. The guides are incredibly skilled; they put us on the fish almost immediately after we hit the water. We ended up catching enough for a fantastic fried whole fish lunch! What sets Sea Dog apart is Phil’s commitment to safety. In an area where some shops can be a bit lax, Phil is "safety first," which gives us total peace of mind. I also appreciate the intimacy of the trips—groups are usually kept small (typically 4 divers or fewer), though they can accommodate larger groups easily. They are also fantastic with mixed groups. Since my wife snorkels rather than dives, Phil arranged a trip where she had her own snorkeling guide in the same area where we were diving. The reef they took us to was absolutely incredible. First-rate service all around! I would not use any other dive shop in Belize.
