Sea Bees Diving - Phuket

Just dove 3 days with Sea Bees out of Phuket, an open water refresher with Catri followed by 2 dives at Racha Noi and Racha Yoi and 5 dives for the Advanced Open Water with George/Deng at Racha Yai and Koh Phi Phi. Catri was supportive of our respective levels – the other 2 had not dived in 20 years, and I'd come from doing the confined water dives and pool practice since November. George was good at checking for understanding to make sure I understood the theory behind what we were doing. Both instructors were helpful with equipment, and just all around great to dive with. Getting to the boat and getting organized on it were expertly handled by Eric. Food was good and plentiful, with several choices at breakfast and lunch, lots of fruit for the snack. Big shoutout to Simone and Cino in the office for their quick responses (considering the 12-hour time difference) and great patience. I can recommend Sea Bees without reservation, but advise taking a pass on Racha Noi. There just isn't much to see there.

To the rest of the crew: A huge thank you for the delicious, authentic Thai cuisine—especially the crispy fried shrimps and tender cuttlefish that kept us fueled between dives! Your tireless help with our dive gear setup and undress, along with keeping the boat spotless and comfortable, made every moment feel like a luxury. This trip was more than just diving; it was a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and incredible food, all thanks to your hard work and warmth. Had a great few days aboard the MV Marco Polo with Seabees diving doing the Similan Islands. We were blessed with clear waters and masses of fish. My guide, Patu, was wonderful and the lead, Sigrid, was a delight. As my first live aboard, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this was an excellent experience. My complements to the captain and crew. Everything was smooth, gear was well organized and maintained, and the food was great. I think the fried shrimp were the best I’ve ever had.
