Sea Bees Diving - Khao Lak

Doing my Advanced Open Water at Sea Bees in Khao Lak was one of the highlights of my trip. Mary was a fantastic instructor. Attentive, sharp, and genuinely invested in her students progress. She has a very intuitive way of reading both the water and the diver, which made every session feel safe and exciting at the same time. I always felt she was aware of everything happening around us. What I appreciated most was how she encouraged independence while still being fully present. She pushed me to refine my buoyancy, improve my awareness, and dive with intention rather than just completing skills. It felt like real development, not just checking boxes. The dives were beautiful, well organized, and professionally run by the whole Sea Bees team. If you are considering your Advanced certification, I can confidently recommend Mary. I left feeling more capable, more confident, and even more in love with diving.

I completed my Rescue Diver course with Sea Bees in Khao Lak and it was an incredible experience from start to finish 😁 My instructor, Guille (Will), was super professional. From day one he created an atmosphere of trust and calm that is essential for a course like Rescue. He explains everything clearly, demonstrates with precision, and makes sure you truly understand what you are doing and why. Underwater he is completely in his element, confident, aware, and always attentive. I felt supported at every moment, even during the more demanding scenarios. He knows how to challenge you while still making you feel capable and safe. I learned so much, gained real confidence, and at the same time enjoyed some truly amazing dives 💙 I 100 percent recommend diving with him and with Sea Bees. I am already looking forward to coming back and sharing more dives together!!

We had a great experience with efficient, knowledgeable instructors. The 65 km trip to the Similan Islands flew by, and once in the water, Oliver Sundin made sure we had a thorough refresher on all safety procedures before diving. Oliver’s calm and reassuring approach was perfect for a group of slightly rusty, long-lapsed divers; he quickly got us up to speed and confident, allowing everyone to successfully complete all the dives.
