Scubacations Dive Resort

I just completed my Open Water qual at Scubacations and could not be happier! A few highlights: - Transparent and competitive pricing. You know exactly what you're getting, which, as it turns out, is much more than you would get for that price at most other places in Puerto Galera - My dive instructor, Christian. Christian made me feel safe, confident and relaxed in the water. He is clearly extremely passionate about the ocean and marine life, so you can't help but have that excitement rub off on you. He was very diligent in ensuring we met all key requirements of the certification, but did not let that get in the way of us having lots and lots of fun! Additionally, due to him having some free time after the course, he offered to take me on a tour of Puerto Galera, which was such a once in a lifetime opportunity that I will never forget. - Above and beyond communication. Manuel was always extremely prompt and clear in his replies, and went above and beyond in helping me organise transfers and accommodation so my experience was as Smooth and enjoyable as possible. As a solo traveller, having this peace of mind made such a big difference and made me feel much more at ease. Would definitely recommend Scubacations to anyone thinking of diving in the Philippines!

Diving with scubacations in Puerto Galera was a wise decision! Manuel is very passionate about diving and about preserving Puerto Galera’s beautiful marine park. He is making big efforts in contributing to maintaining and improving the health of our precious marine life. After travelling for 6 months and doing a lot of diving, this is one of the first shops where I have seen staff collecting rubbish. They also have adopted dive sites to help to their conservation! Opposite Puerto Galera there is such a healthy coral reef that could easily be compared to places such as Sipadan and Raja Ampat. Also great muck dive that we really enjoyed! Scubacations diving prices are very affordable and excellent value for money! Their equipment is top notch. Manuel’s priority is diving safety and this is reflected in the quality of the equipment. We also had the chance to dive with Bunny, he is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and also an amazing protographer. He was very kind to bring his camera with him and take some beautiful, professional photos that he was later very happy to share :)

As for me who has no experience nor knowledge about scuba diving, Kuya Manuel really explained well the basics of it flawlessly and he doesn’t hesitate to share some of his experiences in relation to the topics being discussed. The whole duration of the diving was excellent, I didn’t experienced any problems as we have guided well by their staff and always check on us every time. Price is also very cheap and for its price, you can’t go wrong with Scubanations. I really recommend this place for those first-timers who want to explore the beauty of Puerto Galera thru scuba diving.
