I came to Egypt with a friend and a specific goal: to learn Scuba Diving, basically from scratch. We both had just enough prior experience (2 instructor-led dives) to have had a glimpse on how adventurous and beautiful the underwater world might be. Looking for a well-reviewed, PADI-certified diving school, we quickly stumbled upon this jewel. The diving school offers the full spectrum: from bubbler courses for children, PADI Certificate courses (including guided theory) to individual adventure dives for more seasoned divers, with dive centres across the entire red sea coast. We initially planned to do the beginner PADI open water certificate (OWC) and then evaluate. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up getting the Advanced Open Water (AOWC) and Nitrox diving certificates on top, all within 10 days! BIG THANK YOU to Ines for being professional, effective and flexible in the planning of our dives and lessons, and taking account to our wishes regarding seeing diverse dive sites. And of course props to Muhammad (PADI instructor ID 409400) for being an oustanding teacher and dive master. On land, he knows exactly what fundamentals we needed to focus on and understand to dive safely and with confidence, and he managed to make his explanations fun and intuitive to follow. We are yet to come up with a question he couldn't answer 😆 Before every dive, he effectively briefed about what we will train, how it should work, what could (and to some degree will) go wrong and how to manage these situations with the right, calm mindset. Diving can be scary by itsvery nature, but thanks to his onshore guidance and underwater detail to attention, clear communication and aura of calm & control, it never actaully was! And oh my god, the aquatic life around Marsa Alam is breathtaking! We saw 2 sea turtles, several Morays, an octopus and so countless fishes, corals and snails. We'll definitely want to come back to explore the sites that we couldn't (yet) visit. 😁
