Scuba Republic - Raja Ampat

Stayed for a month in total, did a dive safari, a deep specialty course and many day trips diving. Loved my time here, three meals a day always delicious. Often saw the staff making accomodations for those with dietary requirements. Having the option to have a hot shower after a night dive is always great. The dive staff, boat staff and camp staff added amazing vibes to this dive trip. Comfortable beds, air conditioning also worked great. For a month of diving, food and accomodation it is cheaper than expected also,

The liveaboard experience on Jaya in Raja Ampat was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized, comfortable, and full of amazing moments. The crew was truly outstanding — warm, professional, and always attentive. A special shoutout to the instructors Fandy, Rachel, Erika, and Edward, who made every dive safe, relaxed, and so much fun. Their knowledge of the dive sites and marine life, along with their positive energy, really elevated the whole experience. And of course, we can’t forget the real star of the boat — Wobby the cat! 🐾 Without a doubt, Wobby was the highlight of our stay. So charming, friendly, and always brightening everyone’s day. Coming back from a dive to be greeted by such a sweet little character made the trip even more special. If you’re considering a liveaboard in Raja Ampat, Jaya is an amazing choice. I would absolutely go again, thanks to all the crew.

I spent an incredible week aboard the Scuba Republic liveaboard, and the experience couldn’t have been better. From day one, everything was perfectly organized: clear schedules, thorough dive briefings, and seamless logistics that allowed us to fully enjoy every dive without any worries. The team was consistently professional, attentive, and friendly. Their experience and strong focus on safety were evident, but so was their genuine enthusiasm for making sure everyone had a great time both in and out of the water. The food was another highlight of the trip,varied, plentiful, and genuinely delicious, which is especially appreciated after long dive days. I was also lucky to share the week with an exceptional group of people who made the experience even more special. And of course, the onboard cat, Wobbe, was the perfect touch, his presence made us feel right at home and added a unique charm to the whole trip. I would absolutely recommend this experience and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.
