I've dived with Scuba junkies pre-covid in Mabul and was very impressed with their operation. With that in mind I booked 5 nights 4 days "off season Dec 2025" at the scuba junkies Komodo dive resort as I'd heard the diving was phenomenal. I was really impressed with the rooms and resort, the staff were amazing, and the boats and guides were equally professional. Diving wise I got to see everything I came for done some great drift dives and the Visability was good to OK. I would definitely recommend scuba junkies as safe set of hands for a fantastic diving experience in the Komodo area... (And Mabul)

+ boutique dive camp, minimalist style, good food! a bit pricey, but worth it. amzing diving! - no reading lamp, uncomfortable pillows (too "foamy"), no blackout curtains, weak A/C. wake up with roosters. no hot shower, low water pressure. not enough hangers. no hand towel, no beach towel.

Just finished 7D/6N with SJ Komodo at their resort and already wishing I were back with all the wonderful people I met there. I had the most amazing 5 days diving the beautiful sites of central Komodo, from pinnacle dives to the superman drift at Siaba Kecil. All my guides (Didi, Yuni, Rian, Paula and Tess) were fantastic, with keen eyes to spot all things big and small, calm me on some of the faster currents, and more than once made me laugh with their infectious energy underwater. Dive groups are small, usually only 2-3 guests per guide (2 days I was 1:1!). Great food, super friendly and helpful staff, and they seem to invest a lot in training up local DMs and instructors which says a lot. Already dreaming of returning, maybe next time for mantas!
