Scuba Junkie KK

I and my husband had a fantastic time with Scuba Junkie. I initially had very low expectation because Kota Kinabalu is not a very famous diving destination compared to others like Sipadan or Komodo. However, Scuba Junkie did their very best to make my trip interesting and pleasant. Our dive sites were around Mamutic island for daytime fun diving and night dive was around Gaya island. I was able to see electric clam, small school of barracudas, a turtle, several blue spotted stingrays, mating nudibranch and many more. I also did a night dive with them and was able to see SEAHORSE!, crabs and cuttlefish. Low visibility (around 10m-15m) was a bit dissapointing but still I was able to enjoy the dive due to excellent guiding. Even though there were not many customers due to low-season, our guides were very enthusiastic and took us far out to TARP area for a nice experience. Actually I quite enjoyed the uncrowded and leisurely diving. Guide to divers ratio was 1:2 for day fun diving and 1:1 for night dive and dive time was around 50-60 min depending on air. The boat was spacious with enough shade and room to rest. I would surely choose Scuba Junkie if I come back again. Thanks for making my trip interesting!

Our family booked fun dives to coincide with our kids' Open Water certs. It was all wonderful. The dive locations, the guides and staff, and the lunches were all great. Special mention to Sucre, Noël and Dinn 🤘 for being a lot of fun and also very helpful and knowledgeable. For the fun dives, we didn't have to worry about a thing- all the equipment was sorted for us, no work on our part at all 👍😉. I also really appreciated that the daily lunch locations included vegetarian options 💚. Thanks again Scuba Junkies for a fantastic holiday 🫶

We did 5 dives with Scuba Junkie and omg the sunset + night dive with Din (long hair guy 😂) was insane!! His energy + excitement was so contagious, even underwater! The highlight of the day was defo the night dive & it’s also because din made it so much better! We got soooo close to the marine life, it felt super personal and unforgettable. 10/10 recommended! the 3 dives in the day was pretty cool too, visibility wasn’t the best that day, but we still saw so many amazing things. Lunch orders was served on an island, and we felt so well taken care of by our guide, Jason! Overall, such an incredible experience!
