Sam, Paul and Rodolpho were great! Paul was very knowledgeable about Mayan culture and kept us engaged throughout the day. His jokes were appreciated on a long adventure. The cenote was beautiful and the food at the venue was very good. They had a good selection for vegetarians, which I didn’t expect. The bus was comfortable and clean, and the AC was perfect in this heat. Some of the tourist trap stops I could’ve done without, but it is what it is. I would’ve rather skipped all the stops and focused on the temples and the cenote and cut everything else out. The tequila tasting was nice but the place was asking like $2,000 USD for a sculpture. I would’ve spent more time in town if I had the option. I also didn’t appreciate having to pay for a life jacket, and then drinks even though I paid entry lol. Just seemed odd and a constant “oh we need more money” scenario. Would still recommend taking this tour though. Just avoid the tourist traps.
