Sanctum Exploration

I took my Advanced Open Water course with Instructor Marshall at Sanctum Exploration back in April 2025, and it was such a great experience! The dives in Tulamben were incredible — everything was well-organized from start to finish, and the whole team was super welcoming and professional. Definitely recommend this dive center if you want to learn and explore while feeling supported the entire time. Additionally, we had so much fun doing the DPV skill as part of our Advanced course!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Incredible Experience with the Best Instructor! I just completed my Advanced Open Water course with Sanctum Exploration, and it was an absolute highlight of my trip to Bali. The entire experience was fantastic, but it was made truly exceptional by my instructor, Snehan Kekre. From the very first moment, Snehan was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He has a real talent for explaining complex concepts in a way that is clear, easy to understand, and never intimidating. I’d been struggling with my buoyancy for a while, and not only did he pinpoint the issue immediately, but he gave me simple, effective tips that corrected it completely. It transformed my diving experience, making me feel much more confident and comfortable in the water. Most importantly, Snehan is incredibly trustworthy. You can feel 100% safe under his guidance; his focus on safety and detail is impeccable, which allows you to relax and fully enjoy the magic of the dive. And, well, let's just say it doesn't hurt that he's also good looking! (You're welcome!) The course itself was so much fun, perfectly structured, and we were rewarded on our last day with an unforgettable sight: majestic reef mantas! It was the perfect end to a perfect diving week. If you are visiting Bali and looking for a dive center, look no further. And when you're here, you absolutely must ask for Snehan. He is a fantastic instructor and a great guy. I can’t recommend him or Sanctum Exploration enough! Tips for future divers: Do the Advanced Open Water course! It’s worth every penny, especially with an instructor like Snehan.

Lovely and very professional diving instructors, very good equipment, easy to organise and pay online in advance, good boat, lunch and snacks, smiles all around and excellent diving! They really took great care of me and my two teenagers for an amazing diving experience. Highly recommended.
